During COVID19 lockdown, Hurdler Studios developed an innovative, portable hand-wash station designed specifically for children.
COVID19 CHANGED EVERYTHING.
EVERYTHING CAN CHANGE.
WEE WASH was born from helping a Vancouver-area dance company provide a safe, outdoor Covid19-era dance recital within Canada.
Rapid prototyping and a desire to make a child-friendly product amidst a scary world drove WeeWash towards an innovative assembly process that used no fasteners or electricity, the materials had soft edges, and all parts could be sourced domestically.
User Experience observations showed the overwhelming preference of children wanting to wash their hands rather than use hand sanitizer. With both options offered, every child chose the familiarity of being able to wash their hands.
